Cities Visited: Milan

Highlights: Taking a Pasta and Tiramisu class  with an elderly Italian woman and.....  of course the Gelato!!

 

I met a couple friends in Milan for a weekend. We all were studying abroad in different places for the semester, and it was great to catch up with them and see a new city. We had a great, laid-back time wandering around the city. We visited a couple museums, a beautiful cemetery, parks, gorgeous churches.... and ate SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!

Saturday evening, I took a pasta and tiramisu class with Bruna, a wonderful Italian lady. I learned how to make multiple forms of pasta. The names vary around Italy, and most are not what we would call them in America. Pasta and tiramisu are both pretty simple to make. I am really looking forward to making some when I get home for my family and friends. Bruna was sure to share all her Amazon deals... AND HER RECIPE BOOK!
